His books flow so smoothly, and never fail to bring a smile to my face at one point or another. I’d love to see more of these two.Īs always, Jay Northcote presents an excellent read. I’m not usually into the late ‘discovery’ that a character might be bisexual, but it worked in this case. There was a lot of sex, but enough story to keep it flowing. But why is it turning him on? Is he a creeper if he is jacking off to the image of his housemate who is in turn jacking off for public display on the video feed? (sarcasm implied) He runs down to his room and watches Jude’s internet cast.
He does what every straight guy would do. He runs from the room, but not before noting the site name on the screen in front of Jude. When he walks into his housemate Jude’s room one night after knocking but getting no response, he is totally floored to find Jude jacking off in front of an internet cam. Shawn is a straight lad, having just broken up with his long-term girlfriend. You might not know who all the housemates are, but for the interaction between the two MCs you really don’t need to. You might remember the character of Shawn from previous books in the series, but even if you haven’t read the series, this book works on its own. I felt like a total perv, but in a good way. I was in the waiting room for four hours, and in between people watching, I read this book. I was at the hospital with my husband who was having a minor outpatient procedure. I must tell you that it was difficult to read it today.
This book was positively FILTHY and I loved every minute. If Shawn’s going to get what he wants, he needs to find the courage to stop hiding from himself and be honest about who he is. But Jude isn’t looking to get involved with someone so deep in the closet. Jude agrees, and things get complicated-and kinky-fast. Keen to explore his bicurious side, Shawn suggests they do a show together. It makes Shawn want things that scare him, yet his fascination forces him to confront his attraction. When Shawn discovers Jude works as a cam boy, he can’t resist the urge to watch one of his shows. Out and proud, he’s everything Shawn’s been running from since he hit puberty. Jude is a student living in the same shared house. His girlfriend dumped him, his friends have moved on, and he’s still in Plymouth-going nowhere. Recently graduated, he’s stuck in a dead-end job that barely pays the bills. Watching Jude’s cam show stirs desires Shawn’s always denied…
